I have a Philips Dvd player dvp 5982 thats having issues reading my exterior difficult drive (western digital handheld notebook 250gb) I only desired to observe certain AVI files off it on my dvd player. However it doesnt appear to be functioning. Whenever I connect my 2 gb flash drive i may run AVI files off of which fine. I believe it’s preformatted inside FAT32 yet why cant i receive it to function ? is it considering the USB port doesn’t supply enough force for the drive? how could i fix this?
